Chef Anderson’s food was off the charts delicious!!! We are such foodies and he exceeded our expectations. Our kids loved the Easter egg hunt and paddle boarding around the Island. The snorkeling is unbelievable and so convenient just to walk right off the shore. Rarely do I ever go back but this is a must due to the warm hospitality. Thank you Peter and Jose! The Villas were spacious and beautifully designed. Love the balcony! Enjoyed fishing, taking the yacht out for sunset cruise, exploring nearby islands, snorkeling and the amazing slide in the ocean!

Imagine stepping off a yacht and being greeted at the dock by a full staff, towels and drinks in hand. Imagine every need being anticipated and met before you ever have to ask. Imagine freshly prepared gourmet meals, three times a day, by Chef Anderson, winner of Taste of Belize. We stayed six nights over New Year’s Eve as a group of seven, including young children. The New Year’s celebration was unforgettable, complete with Garifuna performers. As our six-year-old perfectly said: "Can we stay here a thousand more years?" Nikkei’s massages were priceless — she is a master therapist. Mo and Oliver crafted some of the best drinks we’ve ever had. When it was time to leave, every single staff member came out to say goodbye. MC is not just a destination; it is an experience that stays with you long after you leave.

Our entire stay was amazing — the pictures on the website are real and the amenities are 5-star all the way. Chef Anderson is top-notch and extremely humble. The food he prepared was absolutely mind-blowing! Paired with drinks from Mo and Oliver, the culinary experience exceeded all expectations. Nikkei provided service at a level we have never experienced before. The snorkeling around the island was some of the best I have ever experienced! My 5-year-old asked if we could make smores one night — the team got the supplies from the mainland that afternoon and made my kiddos’ day. Kenya and Jose were kind and attentive our entire stay. Captain Chris, Jose, and Gordon made sure the fun never stopped.

We took over the island — our own private oasis. Daily snorkeling, scuba diving, island hopping. The hospitality was bar none, all of us on a first-name basis, every request met with a smile. The meals were made from scratch and you always felt like you were eating clean. Chef Anderson is a culinary dream — I believe Michelin level. Mo at the bar always made your drink exactly how you liked it. Having our own private 60-foot yacht was a treat. Every day was unique but filled with fun and adventure. We all have been talking about this trip and can’t wait to do it again.

We were in the Grand Villa with an overwater deck. The deck was my favorite part — rays swimming during the day and a manatee feeding at night, all from our balcony. Nikki gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Mo at the bar learned quickly what we enjoyed and continued making great drinks without ever asking. Kenya checked in often and made sure everything was taken care of. Chef Anderson won Taste of Belize, and it shows. He makes everything from scratch. He even prepared fish and chips that were better than what I had at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant in Las Vegas. We kayaked, went on a sunset yacht cruise, and snorkeled with turtles and sharks. It never felt rushed.

Celebrating my 50th birthday at Magenta Private Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The island itself is breathtaking, private, serene, and beautifully designed. The staff is what truly sets Magenta apart — every single person was warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. Chef Anderson’s meals were a highlight of each day: fresh, creative, and consistently outstanding. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and the cocktails were equally impressive. Whether enjoying breakfast by the water or a beautifully prepared dinner under the stars, the culinary experience was world-class. Magenta Private Island made my 50th birthday truly memorable, and we are already looking forward to returning.

The staff-to-guest ratio is nearly one-to-one, and the care is so personal that this is the only resort where, weeks later, I still remember many people by name. Mo the bartender knew my favorite drink and would start making it the moment I sat down. Niki’s massages were among the best I’ve ever had — unrushed, attentive, intuitive. Snorkeling right off the island was captivating. Evenings in the overwater hammock, watching manatees surface and eagle rays drift below, felt quietly magical. One night, a waiter showed us a video of Chef Anderson winning Taste of Belize, then brought him out to congratulate him — the whole staff smiling and cheering along. Unforgettable grilled lobster cooked on the beach. And not a single mosquito or sand flea the entire stay.

This is SUCH a beautiful place. The rooms are beyond compare — beyond even boutique luxury hotel. AIR CONDITIONING, digitally controlled blackout blinds, iPad-controlled dimmable lights — all on solar with their own ocean water generation. The chef gets up at 5am to bake the breads and muffins FROM SCRATCH. Ice cream, sauces, pastas, mayonnaise — EVERYTHING made from scratch. The sauces were SO good. Mo the bartender made fantastic drinks. Niki’s massages were our favorite. Our last night on the over-water hammock — watching eagle rays — then a MANATEE grazing off our balcony in the dark. What a magical end to an incredible vacation.

4 nights at Magenta Private Island. One afternoon we needed something they didn’t have on the island and they just jumped on the boat to town and came back with it. No fuss, no wait. It’s what separates this Placencia resort from everywhere else I’ve stayed. Tip: bring reef-safe sunscreen. They care about the environment here and you should too.

We were so fortunate to celebrate our 25th anniversary here. Chef Anderson — the most amazing food from breakfast to our 8-course dinners! Every single item is prepared fresh and handmade. Mo and Oliver created flavors with fresh-squeezed ingredients we never would have thought of. Nikkei — best massage ever. Seriously the most amazing hands, she loves what she does and it shows. The island itself is very swimmable for snorkeling all the way around. Watching for sea life in the evenings from the dock and balcony was always so fun. We cannot wait for a return trip!

Every meal was incredible — completely homemade by the wonderful, award-winning Chef Anderson. I had my ratatouille moment with a fish soup. The bar was always open and wonderful. Mo could make anything you wanted. I had a massage, went snorkeling, explored other islands, relaxed by the pool, kayaked, paddle-boarded, saw my family expand with a new engagement — and it was over before I knew it. Still missing the island life.

We stayed at Magenta for 4 days with friends and it was truly an unforgettable vacation. From the moment we arrived, everything was beyond our expectations. The island is beautiful, peaceful, and very special. All the food was delicious, and the staff were amazing — so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We went snorkeling and paddling around the island, the water is clear and calm, and it feels like your own private paradise. The room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. We were told we are the first couple to get engaged on the island, which makes Magenta even more meaningful to us. Thank you, Magenta, for the beautiful memories. We can’t wait to come back.

My wife and I spent 4 perfect nights on Magenta and will absolutely be back. Jose and Oscar head the staff and are the absolute best! Oliver and Moises are ready for craft cocktails at any time. Captain Chris is ready at the boat for adventures, and Chef Anderson will deliver a memorable dinner every night. Perfect for couples, friend groups, and get-togethers!

Magenta is an amazing island. The grounds are beautiful, the decor is stylish and tasteful, the food is delicious and the staff went above and beyond. We will never forget watching marine life from our private deck, relaxing at the gorgeous pool, playing volleyball with the amazing staff and enjoying delicious food and drinks. This island offered our family everything we were hoping for, and more!

The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were modern and clean. The food was amazing. My favorite cocktail was the pina colada — absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had. Our chef was phenomenal! Everything made from scratch. Massages on the beach were wonderful. Yacht rides were so much fun. We went diving, snorkeling, and ventured out for private island barbecues and volleyball.

We cannot speak highly enough of our time at Magenta! The island is stunning and equally as relaxing. We were spoiled by all the staff with them meeting our every need.

From our own private chef with 5-course meals, massages, snorkeling to other islands, fishing excursions, to a sunset cruise with chef-made appetizers and island drinks — the attention to detail was A+. The staff was beyond respectful and attentive to our every request. The rooms were better than any 5-star hotel — beautifully designed, spacious, with private decks overlooking the ocean. Snorkeling was amazing! The lobster lunch even better! Homemade breads, ice cream, and pastas from the chef.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Excursions were super easy and fun. All-inclusive, everything tailored to our needs. Every room had an incredible sea view. We went diving, snorkeling, and ventured out for private island barbecues and volleyball. We felt extremely safe at all times. Massages on the beach were wonderful.

Upon arrival by private yacht, we were greeted by a warm, wonderful staff and shown to our incredible villa opening onto a tranquil view with warm sea breezes. We swam at their lovely beach, kayaked and snorkeled around the island, and went on amazing excursions to neighboring islands. We can’t wait to book our return!

We were literally among the first guests staying at Magenta over New Year’s Eve. The staff went all out to please. Food was consistently wonderful. The rooms a dream. We hope one day to return to say hi to all the fish and staff!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Magenta in Belize. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like royalty — warm, attentive, and genuinely personal in every interaction. The massage had me floating on cloud nine, and the luxurious rooms were so beautifully designed I found myself mentally redecorating my own home. Each meal was delicious and perfectly portioned, the wine selection was spot-on, and one of the highlights was hopping on their boat for a little island adventure. We even enjoyed a magical lobster lunch in the rain — a once-in-a-lifetime experience you truly have to be there to understand.
