Where is Magenta Private Island?

Magenta sits about 6 miles off Placencia, in the Stann Creek District of southern Belize, a short private boat ride from the mainland. We meet you at the Placencia airstrip, and the ride to our dock and the private boat to the island are part of your stay.

How many villas and guests does Magenta have?

Magenta has 8 Grand Oceanfront Villas and 3 Sanctuary Suites, for up to 22 guests. Every villa and suite is oceanfront, with the dining area, bar and beach close by. Grand Oceanfront Villas come in pairs, each pair sharing one wall and a large deck over the water, and Sanctuary Suites are freestanding, with no shared walls. Explore the villas and suites.

What are the villas and suites like?

Every villa and suite has a king bed, air conditioning, a glass-enclosed rain shower with a lit vanity, an outdoor shower, a balcony, robes, Starlink internet, a wireless tablet with smart-room controls and a Sonos speaker. Furnishings are premium and imported, with a woven chandelier and wood wall art. At night, lights beneath the balconies draw fish, rays and the occasional manatee.

What does all-inclusive cover at Magenta?

Every stay includes all meals and snacks prepared by Chef Anderson, our award-winning chef, premium imported spirits (including Grey Goose, Hendrick’s, Patron, Hennessy and Johnnie Walker Black Label) with champagne and wine, snorkeling off the beach, ocean kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, a sunset cruise aboard Sandian, our 56 foot private yacht, pickup at the Placencia airstrip, the ride to our dock and the private boat to the island, and Starlink internet across the island. Room service is available by request. Room bookings of four nights or more include one complimentary spa treatment for up to two adults per room. How much does Magenta cost?

Sanctuary Suites start at $1,780 per night and Grand Oceanfront Villas at $1,980, all-inclusive for two guests. The entire island starts at $16,000 per night, all-inclusive, for up to 22 guests. In high season, November through April, a Sanctuary Suite is $1,980, a Grand Oceanfront Villa is $2,180 and the entire island is $18,000 per night. All prices are in US dollars.

Fly into Belize City (BZE), then take the short flight to Placencia (PLJ) on Tropic Air or Maya Island Air. We meet you at the Placencia airstrip, and your arrival and departure transfers are timed to your flights. English is Belize’s official language.
